How to Get
Kristen Stewart's Cover Look
from W Magazine
Twilight star Kristin Stewart is on the cover of W magazine looking like a super-sexy snow bunny in her white, fuzzy top. From getting her sweet sweater to her smoked-out eyes and teased-up hair, you'll be surprised how easy it is. Here are tips from a group of high-profile pros, as part of the Cover Look Collection: sharing the secrets to creating star cover looks in the real world, on a real budget. Now you don't have to be a celebrity to look like one.

Style

Stylist-to-the-stars Meeka Johnson says this cover look is a very attainable winter style for your wardrobe. Find a cowl-neck sweater that allows you to play with your neckline, showing a little shoulder or not. Want to dress it up a bit?
Opt for a sweater dress in a plush fabric like angora, mohair or cashmere. If you're sensitive-skinned, Johnson says finding these fabrics in a blend with less-scratchy materials will assure you won't itch as much.
Hair

Among his celebrity clients, stylist Naz Kupelian has worked with the cover girl herself, so what better expert could we get to give away the secrets to achieve her look at home yourself?
Prep: Wash hair, shampooing and conditioning as usual. Use only a touch of conditioner as to not weigh down the hair.
Style: Towel-dry your hair well, then add a small bit of Rusk Plumping Mousse before using your blow dryer. Using your fingers and a large-barrel round brush, dry your hair piece by piece.
Pro tip: Kupelian uses an ionic and ceramic brush to emit negative ions that seal the hair's cuticle, eliminating frizz and adding a silky shine.
Once hair is completely dry, start to work the magic of the bouffant. Apply another thickening spray, this time to add body and a bit of texture to the roots. Don't be shy, spritz your hair liberally with Thick from Rusk's designer collection. Work it well into the roots of the hair, allowing it to dry. To create maximum volume he heats up hot rollers, the bigger the better. Set your hair in rollers and when cool, unroll and carefully comb out with your fingers.

Now for the final step and to accomplish the free-flowing body with maximum root lift; take a fine tooth comb and tease ever so slightly at the base of the curl-right next to the scalp. Take each section and create a poof at the scalp. Smooth your hair ever so slightly with a comb to tame unruly hairs while keeping the volume.
Finish: Spray a fine layer of hairspray such as his own Naz Kupelian "Switch It" Versatile Spay, which features a nozzle that rotates to adjust application from light to medium to heavy, ensuring the best coverage for any hair style. Flip hair over to one side and bring curls to the front of the shoulders.

Makeup
Among her many credits, celebrity makeup artist Amy Zdunowski Roeder is one of the pros on the "America's Next Top Model" makeup team. Here's her 10-step how-to for cosmetics on this cover look. The best part is you can create this look with beauty bag basics you probably already have. This glamorous and sultry look is timeless but can seem quite daunting. A few trade secrets and voila -- you will appear as though you had your makeup done professionally.
1. Brush out your brows to give them a fuller look. Fill in any thinner spots with a thin angled brush, using an eye shadow that is similar to color of the roots of your hair.
2. Apply a primer on the eyelids to keep the shadow from moving.
3. Take two pieces of Scotch tape (one for each eye) and put the sticky side on the back of your hand so it becomes a little less adhesive.
4. Line the straight edge of the tape up with the corner of your lower lash line and tape it to your face with an upward slant, creating a line to trace the cat eye.
5. Using an angled brush, a deep black eye shadow and a steady hand, follow the edge of the tape and create a sideways cat-like "V" shape (with one line of the V stretching under the lower lash line and the other going straight across the top of the eyelid, meeting up with the upper lash line about â…” of the way in from your tear duct. The corner of the "V" is the tip of the cat eye.) Hard part over!
6. Now, fill in the "V" with the black eyeshadow (make sure to tap the excess powder off your brush), staying neatly between the lines. Any fall out on the bottom will hit the Scotch tape, keeping your lines straight and angled.
7. Swiftly remove the tape to expose the angled cat eye, then blend out any harsh lines under the eye using a small blending brush.

8. Apply a pearl color on the top and bottom of your tear ducts for highlight.
9. Notice there is no blush, just a little bit of light taupe under the cheekbone to accentuate the cheekbone.
10. Apply a neutral pink lipstick a few shades lighter than your natural lip color and you are done!
