Lima’s GQ Brasil cover is for the fashion editorial "Black on Black" - a series of eight internationally famous Brazilian models styled by Antonio Branco and photographed by Richard Phibbs, showing how black is the key part of the male wardrobe. Copy her cover style with a shiny suit jacket or trench in patent or PVC.

Her cover hairstyle is a basic blow dry with a center part and a flat iron finish. For the best results, start with healthy tresses and use a heat protecting serum before you dry your hair to protect it from damage.

The cover makeup tutorial is provided by celebrity artist Amy Zdunowski Roeder:

This look is definitely sultry yet edgy with the matte, almost dry stained lips and deeper eyes. Super fun for a night out!

  1. Brush out the eyebrows and structure them (you can see the fullness on Fernanda’s) using eye shadow the same color as your hair’s roots applied with an angled brush.
  2. If you have full lashes, be happy! If you don’t, you might want to spring for some Ardell “Demure” (or any other artificial lashes you like to create fullness). You can buy them at the drugstore to make your lashes appear fuller.
  3. With a soft dome brush, starting at the outer edge of your eyelid, pat a smoky grey eye shadow about ⅔ of the way in on your lid.
  4. Flip your brush over or wipe it off and then add a pearly shadow to the inner corner of your eye and tear duct. Be sure to blend out any harsh lines.
  5. Pick up the angle brush you used for your brows and gently line your bottom lash line with the same darker smoky color you used on your lid.
  6. Apply your favorite mascara over the false lashes and your own to create a unified lash look.
  7. Apply your favorite foundation and concealer evenly to your face (make sure you remove any eyeshadow that may have fallen down on your face during application).
  8. Notice there is no blush, just a little bit of taupe under the cheekbone to accentuate it.
  9. Outline your lips with a lip pencil, and fill in your lip with the liner to create the matte, stained look.
