Donate Your Hair

Hair is your gift that keeps growing back. You can give comfort and confidence over and over again, no matter your age, gender, race or social status.

If you have an 8-inch or longer "virgin" ponytail (with no harsh chemical treatments) that's less than five percent gray, you can donate it to be made into a wig for a woman who needs it.

Pledge to donate your ponytail in September to qualify for a hair makeover from a celebrity stylist.

Volunteer to Help

We need lots of help: Spreading the word about our goal, translating our message into other languages, recruiting salons and hair donors, designing, printing and distributing flyers, to lend an extra hand at group cutting events, and more. Whether you have five minutes, five hours or even five days to contribute - your support makes a difference!

Mahri Martens Tomas will donate a ponytail on behalf of the biggest recruiter, who will also receive custom extensions in her choice of clip-on or applied by "the tress goddess" herself in LA.

Participate as a Stylist or Salon

Join the Cause: By committing to provide just nine complimentary haircuts, you can help create a wig for a woman with cancer.

Host a group cut: There's power in numbers! If you'd like to put some muscle behind the drive with the participation of your clients, a book club, church, school, athletic team, community group or other organization in your area, let us know!
